Debra Woodcock is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She is a registered State of Michigan Interior Designer; http://www.michigan.gov/documents/cis/idlist_178219_7.pdf, she is an Allied member of ASID, and a member of NKBA. She is Owner and Principal Designer at DW Interior Design, LLC.
Debra has extensive experience in corporate and commercial interiors, including private residences and health care design. She has extensive knowledge of resources in the architectural and design community. Her commitment as an Interior Designer is to minimize the impact on the planet through sustainable choices and environmentally friendly building practices.
Debra has been responsible for complete project management of large-scale commercial projects, which include but are not limited to; programming, finish selections (interior and exterior), ADA compliancy, ergonomic considerations, furniture specifications and complete coordination of installations. She also has experience assisting residential clients with the design and construction of their homes. She has expertise related to products, product applications, design issues, fabrics and finishes. She has strong technical abilities, comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, elevations, specifications and presentation boards.
